Turkey’s failed coup: domestic and foreign policy implications

On 6 September 2016, the European Foundation for Democracy hosted a closed door conference with Dr. Demir Murat Seyrek, EFD Senior Policy Advisor, expert on Turkish politics and foreign policy. During the conference, Dr Seyrek addressed the latest coup attempt occurred in Turkey’s largest cities including the capital Ankara, resulting in the death of more than 300 people.
